This past weekend, we celebrated the Queens Birthday which makes for a VERY eventful week and weekend throughout all of Holland. From festivals, live music, free markets, parades, you name it!!! Not to mention, everyone wears ORANGE and decorates the store windows.We bought lots of flowers at one of the markets and you'll see my Dutch Master transporting them home. I also had a bunch in my basket so you manage with 2 wheels! Its very humbling to go shopping here - with cost, space, and how in the world will I get it home!?!?! I carried a big trash bin in one arm the other day all the way from downtown.... anything goes.
